C. suggest D. suppose
答案B。expect：to think that you will find that someone or something has a particular quality or does a particular thing原本料想；prefer：to like someone or something more than someone or something else, so that you would choose it if you could，更喜欢。
3.归类辨析
词的辨析还可以通过将词从微观归类到某一宏观范围，如主观、客观，或者将它特质作一剖析，如表示过程还是结果等办法加以辨析。如：下列两组词：

A组词强调动作，B组词强调结果。
例1、Emergency line operators must always calm and make sure that they get all the information they need to send help.

答案D。stay为连系动词，有“维持”的意思，是个状况词；而grow，become也可以是连系动词，但个“变”态的动词，表示“变得”。
例2、—— Ow! I’ve burnt myself!

A. touched B. kept
C. felt D. held
答案A。touch是动作动词，强调“碰”，而feel是个过程动词，强调“觉出”。
4. 形象联想辨析
辨析词是为了学会词的使用方法，便捷记忆。因此，有些状况下，可以通过形象联想，加深对词的理解。如：
例1、I’m putting on weight. The doctor has warned me to _________ sugar.
A. keep up B. keep back
C. keep off D. keep away
答案C。keep off有“不接近、防止”等意思，在此题中是“不(吃、喝)”之意。keep off 的这个语义，大家还可以联想中英文标示用语。“勿踏草坪”，就是用“Keep off the grass！”来表示的。

答案C。take off： (商品或观念)大受青睐、(商品销量)急升。这个词也比较容易让大家联想到飞机起飞的“take off”，从而记清词义。
